Hematite Fire Protection District received a grant through the Jefferson Memorial Foundation. The grant will provide funding to replace Hydralic tools that are over 20 years old. Hematite Firefighters will be at Jefferson County Head Start on October 11 to teach the kids about fire safety. Hematite Firefighters will be at Athena Elementry on October 10th for Fire Prevention.
